Some people go to extremes of volume, vision and hype to attract attention to themselves while others are happy to simply do what they do and rely on building a reputation by the responses of those who notice them and then enthusiastically spread the word. Lior's sound is a rootsy mix of styles and with a Middle Eastern heritage, Lior keeps the music of his bloodline close to the surface.

It is with the optimism and innocence of a child and the wit and wariness of the wise that they tell their love stories, taking the listener along for a joyous and emotional ride. The sound is uniquely theirs, with an original blend of ukulele, accordion, gorgeous guitars and heartfelt vocals that stir the stars and lull the moon. What name for this music that blends folk, old country, ‘30s blues, jazz, European stylings and then some? |
